Your first colony.
One step at a time.
A little planning goes a long way. Here is how to turn your first foothold into a thriving civilization.
Your first landing
Create an account before you play. Your colony is saved on the game server; use the same account and server on another device to continue. The short origin story is skippable and can be replayed in Settings.
On a phone, install the game to your Home Screen for a larger view. On a desktop, you can enter fullscreen from Settings. Browser play is always available.
Four resources. One growing colony.
Build a Bio Farm for Food, Timber Grove for Wood, Stone Quarry for Stone and Gold Mine for Gold. Assign workers in the Workers menu. They gather continuously, including up to eight hours while you are away.
A Worker Nest starts with five workers. Each level adds four more. Keep a worker free for construction, or reassign a gatherer when you need a builder. Roads help hunters travel faster.
Learn without the long wait.
Follow the arrows and objectives through Citadel level 5. Eligible tutorial construction, research and troop-training timers can be finished free: look for “On the house” on the speed-up control. Normal building and training materials still cost resources.
From levels 6–8, the guide offers optional tips without free speed-ups. Claim quest rewards, increase storage, combine buildings and upgrade your resource economy before rushing your Citadel.
Build your first Legion.
Build a Void Cantina to recruit heroes, and a Legion Nexus to unlock a Legion. Each Legion has Front, Middle and Rear rows. Add troops and optional heroes, then save your formation. You need a configured Legion to march.
Match a hero’s type with the row’s troops for a bonus. Three matching hero types add Legion attack; three occupied rows with different troop types gain +3% attack and +5% defence. Preview the combination and strength in Formations.
Train, heal, repeat.
Infantry has the highest base strength. Archers move 15% faster; Riders move 30% faster. A mixed Legion travels at its slowest troop type. Hero level, stars, research and formation can outweigh base troop differences.
Brood Houses increase troop housing by 1,000 per level. Wounded troops go to Hospitals, where you can heal them. Wounded and deployed troops still occupy housing. Watch training and healing timers in the Army menu.
There is a world outside your walls.
Use World to leave the colony. Drag to explore, pinch or use the zoom control, and use the enemy finder to choose a target. Review the strength comparison before marching. A configured, available Legion is required.
Join a guild to share chat and rally against giant enemies. Shields protect your castle; attacking another castle removes your shield. Relocation can help you settle near allies.
Grow with a plan.
Combine four eligible buildings into the next tier for +5% combination production per tier. Move buildings freely, preview auto-arrange before applying, and use mass Upgrade and Combine menus to manage larger colonies.
Markets evolve into Supermarkets and then one Trade Empire. Upgrade storage before it fills. Citadel 21–30 requires much greater resources, power, combined buildings and time.
Help shape the alpha.
This is a playable alpha: expect balance changes, unfinished edges and occasional bugs. If something goes wrong, open Help (?) and download a bug report. Include the game version, device, browser, and what happened.
